In our journey with Christ we are not promised the proverbial "rose garden". Paul even tells us we will have troubles, hardships and distresses... (2 Cor 6:4). Jolene Riley offers beautiful vocals and a reassurance of our rescue from these afflictions. On her project titled "Journeyin' On", Riley supports the promise of God taking us through it all. Riley has a vocal talent gift that is graceful and encouraging. "He Who Dwells", "Put Your Hope In God" deliver the strength of God's dwelling in Jolene's ministry. Her bio reads like many of ours do. In her personal life, there have been lots of distractions along the way like having kids, a failed marriage, the trials of being a single mom, loss, pain, grace, marrying again, a step-family... but she made it here.
Many of us can relate to her struggles and challenges of life. Being able to walk away from these trials claiming them only to be "distractions" is a testament to her faith.
